2008-08-21 ArmoryMe for WoW users!

This new webapp has been designed for World of Warcraft players, this is an iPhone interface for WoWArmory. Right now it is possible to search for chars, guilds, arena teams, items and to put these in a favorite tab without needing any account creation, also it is completely available in English, French and German.

2008-07-31 Promote your web application

There will be a new section on the site to promote your web application. For now it is just list in the right column, but soon it will be something more like on the Apple web site. I encourage you to post a presentation of your new web application built using WebApp.Net directly on the forum.

2008-07-14 Maintenance version online

This new version aims to address many of the bugs reported by developers. There is no particular new features. Every stuff related to iPhone 2.0 have been removed due to lack of testing and support (full screen mode). The next version should include some v2.0 optimized features and some other cool stuff. A beta will be released for each new functionality until the official release to ease massive testing.

I'd like to thank two generous donators for their support, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Also, I found that some of you are currently using WebApp.Net for commercial purpose in web site packages. So, please, notify me about this, even if the license allow this. I just hope that you respect the license terms and provide the proper copyright and, eventually, a back link to this site.

Sfxmedia has announced on the forum the release of a new web application, which was developed with WebApp.Net : the timetable of the Geneva public transportation (Transports publics genevois - TPG). 2008-07-02 Navigate Singapore on your iPhone with iSinGeo.com

iSinGeo.com allows users to locate themselves either using Yahoo’s FireEagle service or using various input locations (street address, MRT Station, Bus Stop number, Hotel or Shopping Mall). Once the user has located themselves they can choose from a variety of things to be displayed on a map, together with their own location. The application uses Google’s static maps or the iPhone’s Google Maps application to show the search results.

2008-06-26 YourCX Beta version released for iPhone

YourCX logo YourCX is a new web application for iPhone and iPod Touch with which your files, applications or gadgets are centralized. You can view your photos from Flickr, your videos from YouTube, your files from Box.Net and add external applications like personalized web pages.

For now it's only an advanced viewers for your web contents, but YourCX aims to be also, with users permissions, a great content manager where applications can interact with its files, medias from Flickr, YouTube, and so on... YourCX makes an heavy use of WebApp.Net micro-framework and Worolf, the developer, did a really good job with it. Check it out now!

2008-06-09 WWDC / WAn version 0.3.0 released

Today is the first day of the Apple WWDC. It's also time to release a new version of WebApp.Net, just one month after the first public release. As exposed previously this new version includes better multi-lingual support along with new XML attributes to position your asynchronous content. You'll also be able to create layers dynamically! Some bug have been fixed, The full list of changes and fixes is available from the menu. Download it now!

2008-06-07 WebApp.Net and Google Android

Google Android logo I just downloaded the Android SDK from the Google Code web site, since it is supposed to be based on WebKit just like Safari. I wanted to test its web browser running WebApp.Net Demo. The result, is: YES, Android runs with your web applications built with WebApp.Net! This is a great news and I invite you to test it and give your feedback and remarks about this support.

2008-06-07 New version to come on monday

Many bugs have been fixed and new features has been added since previous version. So, it's time for a new release which will include a multi-lingual (unicode with forms and right-to-left support) and more flexibility with the new XML format. I'll try to find time (and courage :)to document missing features. Stay tuned!
